Growth in Carleton Place
This is certainly a community on the move! We're all excited to see part of the HWY 7 expansion is already open which just reminds us how easy that commute will be in a short while when the double-lane highway is completed all the way here.
With the construction on the new Home Depot, Wallmart and other box stores, we're certainly a community poised for booming growth and development. When you factor in how well prepared the town is for adding to our existing infrastructure (i.e. expanding main thoroughfares in town) and maintaining the vitality of our beautifull downtown core, it's obvious that we are one lucky municipality; with just the right balance of small town charm, exceptional regional facilities and easy proximity to Ottawa.
